The Signature Plus 16 builds on the acclaimed Signature Series with enhanced professional workflows, including a dedicated Listen bus, Talkback To routing, and Simple Success Metering across all inputs and outputs. Colour-coded controls and tactile 'squircle' knobs provide fast, confident operation in dimly lit stages or high-pressure studio sessions. Rack-mount ears come included, and a surface-mounted QR code links directly to training videos, manuals, and support resources. Each mono input features a Soundcraft Ghost mic preamp with smooth high-gain behaviour and rich harmonic character, paired with Sapphyre EQ for musical tone shaping. Built-in dbx OverEasy one-knob compressors add harmonic enhancement for gentle compression on vocals and acoustic instruments, whilst TRS insert points allow external processors like aggressive drum compressors to be patched in. The Lexicon hardware effects processor includes preset Store and Tap Tempo functions, with foot jacks for FX Bypass and Tap Tempo during live performance. A 4x4 USB-C interface operates at up to 192 kHz, routing audio to and from laptops or mobile devices - USB inputs can be directed into channel strips or override the mix for break music and DJ sets. User-configurable monitoring controls include independent headphone and control room outputs with Mute, Dim, and Mono Sum functions, plus direct USB routing for streamlined per-listener monitoring. The Listen bus allows engineers to monitor individual channels without disrupting mixes sent to artists or audiences, whilst Talkback To routing directs communication to user-selected outputs.
