The Warm Audio Fen-tone™ is inspired by a classic 1950s ribbon mic, reimagined with modern components to deliver iconic tones. Recreating the compact, ventilated pencil-style design of the original B&O model, Fen-tone is ideal for tight studio spaces. Upgrades include a custom Japanese ribbon, rare-earth Neodymium magnet, and CineMag USA transformer for rich ribbon tone on guitars, overheads, horns, and more. The addition of an all-analog 26 dB JFET in-line preamp enables active use with lower-gain preamps, making it an essential studio tool for today’s engineers.
