The Super Stack’s versatility shines when played softly at the edge, producing a wide, washy sizzle ideal for accents and moderate volume applications. Using the stick tip at the shoulder creates a short, piercing sound reminiscent of a trashy hi–hat.

The construction features a perforated china top paired with a crash bottom, both finished in brilliant coating that enhances the midrange bark at the shoulder while maintaining sensitive hi–hat characteristics at the edge. The wing nut tension system allows precise control over decay length, making it particularly valuable for studio work where timing is critical.
