Born from the creative collaboration between Paiste and acclaimed drummer Daru Jones, the PST X DJs Cymbal Set brings professional–grade percussion to the world of hip–hop and electronic music. Jones, whose gospel church background propelled him to work with major artists including Jack White and Jamie Lidell, needed a highly portable cymbal solution for spontaneous DJ sessions and urban music environments. His unique musical style has earned critical recognition in leading magazines and national television appearances.

This innovative 12/12/12 inch set comprises three essential pieces designed specifically for modern urban percussion needs. The 12" DJs 45 Crash produces fast, explosive sounds with dirty fizz perfect for quick accents, while the 12" DJs 45 Hats provide distinctly dry stick sounds with muted trashy hiss and a remarkably dry clap when closed. The 12" DJs 45 Ride features a prominent, full bell sound alongside dry, bell–like ping tones and snappy edge accents.

Built on the PST X series foundation, these cymbals deliver the fast, dry characteristics that complement hip–hop and electronica perfectly. The Crash and Hi–Hat top cymbals showcase the signature PST X hole pattern, and despite their compact 12–inch size, all three models provide impressive volume and projection for professional applications.
