Pearl's Decade Mapper series brings all-maple construction to a price point previously dominated by cheaper materials. The 5.4mm EvenPly-Six shells deliver the warmth and punch maple is known for, whilst low-mass hardware appointments including NDL tuning lugs, die-cast claws and Uni-Lock tom arms maximise shell resonance. The Opti-Loc three-point tom suspension system allows toms to vibrate freely for optimal sustain and tone. This fusion configuration includes a 22x18 bass drum with double tom mount, 10x7 and 12x8 rack toms, a 14x14 floor tom, and a matching 14x5.5 snare drum. Pearl's 930 series hardware pack rounds out the package with a snare stand, hi-hat stand, two boom cymbal stands and a bass drum pedal. The UV-cured Satin Slate Black lacquer finish adds visual appeal whilst protecting the 6-ply maple shells.
