Every component was evaluated to preserve the circuit's transparent midrange character while expanding its sonic range. The JRC NJM4558 op-amp anchors the design, delivering the pedal's signature behaviour, whilst a +6dB output boost on the final stage stage increases maximum level and headroom for pushing tube amps harder.Hand-wired throughout using Japanese MOGAMI OFC cable (AWG21), the TS808HWV2 operates on a single 9V battery (006P) or external AC adapter (DC 9-18V centre-negative, sold separately) drawing 7mA at 9V or 11mA at 18V. True bypass switching means your dry signal passes untouched when the pedal is off. The updated chassis retains the traditional footprint but carries a refined, high-end finish that reflects the quality of its construction. This pack includes a cushioned TS808 motif carrying case.
