The Fender Custom Shop Limited-Edition '60 Jazz Bass Relic celebrates iconic Fender sound and style with its meticulous construction and vintage-inspired features. It has a 2-piece select alder body with a distressed Relic nitrocellulose lacquer finish. The quartersawn maple neck is shaped in a smooth, comfortable profile, and topped with a flat-lam 3A rosewood fingerboard, 20 vintage frets and white Micarta inlays.

The limited-edition '60 Jazz Bass's tone is powered by a Custom Shop hand-wound vintage Jazz Bass pickup, with master volume and tone controls. Additional appointments include vintage-style tuners, a 4-saddle vintage-style bridge, bone nut and nickel/chrome hardware.

The Alder body is typically comfortable thanks to the lush sweeping curves, and with a Super Faded Aged Sonic Blue finish, it looks real slick. Authentically aged, this finish will wear beautifully with time and develop its own character even further. The thin nitro finish also allows the natural resonance of the body to sing and sustain much more effectively.

The Quartersawn Maple neck features a 60 J bass profile and a sweet AAA grade Rosewood fingerboard, designed for precision and comfort; it's equally at home playing big low-end root notes or technical work further up the neck. Loaded with a Fender Vintage J Bass rhythm and lead pickup, you get period-correct Fender tone, there's no mistaking that signature Fender bass thump.
