Hand-wound Fat 50's Strat pickups deliver full-bodied single-coil tone across all five positions, with the middle pickup wound reverse-polarity to cancel hum in positions two and four. Fat 50's wiring retains period-correct voicing while solving the noise issues that plagued original '50s Strats. The 9.5 radius fingerboard and narrow tall frets favour modern bending technique over the flatter, smaller wire found on pure vintage reissues.
