The Fender Hama Okamoto Precision Bass #4 is a signature model co-designed with the bassist from Japanese rock band OKAMOTO'S, now available in Olympic White with a striking red tortoiseshell pickguard. This Made in Japan Artist series instrument pairs a basswood Precision Bass body with a slimmer Classic '60s Jazz Bass neck profile for enhanced playability. The 34-inch scale features a rosewood fingerboard with a vintage 7.25-inch radius and 20 vintage-style frets, while the 1.5-inch bone nut provides traditional spacing and sustain. Electronics consist of a vintage-style split single-coil Precision Bass pickup controlled by master volume and tone knobs with knurled flat-top styling. Hardware includes a 4-saddle vintage-style bridge with period-correct bridge cover, vintage-style lollipop tuning machines in chrome, and distinctive period appointments including finger rest and paddle pegs as specified by Okamoto. The gloss polyester body finish complements the gloss urethane neck, while Fender USA 7250ML nickel-plated steel strings (.045-.100 gauges) come factory-installed. A gig bag is included with purchase.
