Fender John 5 Ghost Telecaster (White)

John 5's signature Telecaster takes the classic single-cut platform into aggressive modern territory with a stripped-back control scheme and high-output electronics. Finished in arctic white with a matching headcap, the Ghost Telecaster reflects nearly three decades of session and touring experience across hard rock and metal. DiMarzio D'Activator humbuckers in both positions anchor the sonic identity, bypassing the traditional Tele bridge single-coil in favour of tight low-end response and searing high-gain clarity that cuts through dense stage mixes. The control layout reduces complexity to a single volume knob and killswitch, eliminating tone controls and pickup switching entirely. DiMarzio D'Activator pickups use dual-resonance coil technology to deliver hot output without the mud or compression that plagues many high-gain humbuckers, maintaining articulation under extreme distortion. The Ghost Telecaster retains the bolt-on neck construction and ash or alder body - depending on finish - that defines the Tele family, paired with modern appointments like jumbo frets and a flatter radius fretboard for fast playing and wide bends across all registers.
