The Made in Japan Heritage 70s Jazz Bass recreates the golden era of Fenders bass legacy with period-correct specifications developed under the supervision of former Custom Shop Master Builder Mark Kendrick. This Natural finish model features a gloss polyester ash body paired with a 1975 U-shaped maple neck, delivering the thick, warm tones and substantial feel that defined mid-70s Jazz Bass construction. Premium vintage-style 70s single-coil pickups at middle and bridge positions deliver classic growl and punch. The 7.25-inch radius maple fingerboard hosts 20 vintage-style frets and white pearloid block inlays, mounted on a bone nut measuring 1.5 inches wide. A 34-inch scale length and four-saddle vintage-style bridge maintain traditional Jazz Bass geometry, while Pure Vintage 70s tuning machines with Fender logos and a three-ply eggshell pickguard complete the period aesthetic. Dual volume controls and a master tone circuit provide straightforward tonal shaping. Nickel-plated steel strings in .045-.105 gauges come factory-installed, and a deluxe gig bag is included.
