The PRS Silver Sky Wild Blue Limited Edition is a 2026 release developed in collaboration with John Mayer, featuring a limited turquoise-inspired finish drawn from early Silver Sky prototypes. Limited to a global run of up to 1,000 instruments, this model is the first Silver Sky to feature a matching painted headstock.
Core Silver Sky specifications are retained, including an alder solidbody construction and a 25.5" scale length maple neck. This limited edition is offered exclusively with a rosewood fretboard, paired with a 7.25" radius and small bird inlays, reflecting traditional vintage-inspired geometry and feel.
Electronics are centred around Mayer’s signature PRS 635JM single-coil pickups, delivering a balanced response designed for clarity, warmth, and controlled high-end detail. Hardware includes a PRS steel tremolo bridge, vintage-style locking tuners, and a bone nut, all finished in nickel for a cohesive aesthetic.
Finished in satin nitrocellulose lacquer, the Wild Blue colourway joins a short list of previous limited Silver Sky finishes, sitting alongside Nebula and Lunar Ice. Each instrument ships with a PRS Premium gig bag and is supplied strung with PRS Signature 10–46 strings in standard tuning.
