The Event Lighting F200VW is a compact dual–head fresnel built around variable colour temperature LED technology, marrying the optical control of traditional theatre fresnels with the efficiency and colour flexibility of modern LED. Each of the two 100W COB LEDs produces 3,550 lux at 3 metres in spot mode, with a colour temperature range spanning 2,700K warm white through 6,500K cool white. The 80mm planconvex lens and manual zoom mechanism deliver a beam angle of 20° to 53°, giving operators smooth control over throw distance and wash width without motorised complication.
Construction centres on die–cast aluminium with matte black finishing, keeping weight to 3.2 kg whilst maintaining thermal stability through fanless passive cooling with temperature protection. The 16–bit dimming engine handles 0–100% intensity, whilst the 1,200Hz PWM frequency ensures flicker–free operation across camera capture and high–speed video work. Control options include manual, master/slave, DMX512 (supporting six channel modes plus user–definable), wireless DMX, and Art–Net compatibility via the 5–pin XLR in/out connectors. Strobe functionality spans 1–25Hz. Universal 100–240V AC power input with dual XLR true1 looping simplifies integration into larger rigs, whilst included barn doors and gel clips enable quick colour and beam shaping.
The 50,000–hour LED lifespan and 95+ CRI rating make this suitable for stage, broadcast, and architectural installations where colour accuracy matters. The 217.5 × 167 × 200mm footprint and comprehensive control protocol support position it equally well in small touring setups and permanent installations requiring networked dimming and cueing.
