Adam Audio H715 Open Back Studio Reference Headphones

Titanium-plated PEN drivers and a 150 ohm impedance rating set the ADAM Audio H715 Reference open-back headphones apart from typical studio monitoring options. These are mixing and mastering headphones where measurement matters more than hype, delivering a 9Hz-40kHz frequency response with THD below 0.05% at 100dB SPL and a maximum output of 113dB. The spring steel headband and central crown cutout keep the total weight at 302g, allowing extended sessions without the fatigue that comes from heavier closed-back designs. Open-back architecture with angled 40mm drivers behind woven steel mesh provides the spatial information needed for accurate stereo imaging and loudspeaker mix translation. A recessed button inside the left earcup switches between studio and Hi-Fi modes, activated with the supplied metal pin. Hi-Fi mode splits the common ground, enabling balanced audio delivery from differential amplifiers when paired with the included 3m cable and 4.4mm 5-pole Pentaconn plug. The 1.3m coiled studio cable terminates in a 3.5mm TRS plug with a 6.3mm adapter for standard studio outputs. Both magnetic soft cloth and faux leather memory foam earpads are supplied, along with replaceable cables, earpad sets and headband padding for long-term serviceability. The included Headphone Utility plug-in applies ADAM Audio's precise headphone calibration curves with adjustable crossfeed to help mixes translate accurately to loudspeaker setups. ListenHub app integration provides streaming reference track alignment, loudness matching and instant mono, sides and balance checking. On macOS systems, the plug-in runs inside ListenHub for system-wide calibration across all audio applications. Lay-flat folding earcups with CNC anodised aluminium yokes and a hardshell case complete the package.
