The ATEM Advanced Panel 20 from Blackmagic Design is a hardware control surface engineered specifically for the ATEM Constellation 8K family of production switchers. This panel provides direct tactile control over complex live production workflows, with a 20-button design that consolidates switching, transition, and macro functions. The panel connects via Ethernet and integrates with the switcher's software interface, offering broadcast operators physical access to source selection, keying, and transition controls without relying on on-screen menus during time-critical production moments. The control layout features 20 illuminated buttons for source selection across program and preview buses, alongside dedicated transition control with auto and cut functions. A T-bar fader provides manual transition speed control, while four LCD screens above the button rows display real-time source labels and status information. The panel includes macro buttons for storing and recalling complex switcher commands, plus system control buttons that manage media pool playback, downstream keyers, and fade-to-black operations. Connection is handled via a single Ethernet cable that carries both control data and panel power when used with Power over Ethernet infrastructure.
