PreSonus StudioLive Series III SE 32R 40-Channel Digital Rack Mixer

The PreSonus StudioLive® Series III SE 32R is a 40-channel digital rack mixer built for live sound, monitor mixing, and multitrack recording in professional touring and studio environments. Its 32 XMAX-R recallable preamps deliver 0–60 dB gain with 94 dB signal-to-noise ratio and <0.005% total harmonic distortion, whilst the compact 19” × 3.5” rackmount footprint (5 kg) fits seamlessly into existing rigs without sacrificing I/O density or mixing capability.

The mixer combines 16 configurable FlexMixes, four dedicated subgroups, four effects sends with stereo returns, and 24 DCA groups for granular channel control across complex monitor and FOH scenarios. A 64×64 USB 2.0 interface, onboard SD card recording (up to 32 GB SDHC) in WAV format, and Milan-certified AVB networking allow integration with NSB stageboxes and EarMix 16M personal monitors. Per-channel source switching between analogue, USB, SD, and AVB inputs, plus Universal Control and QMix-UC remote mixing, give engineers wireless workflow flexibility. Headphone outputs deliver 100 mW per channel at 60Ω with 96 dB SNR across the 20 Hz–20 kHz spectrum.

The onboard Capture integration enables Virtual Soundcheck playback for rehearsal and system testing without a live band, whilst standalone, monitor mixer, and stagebox modes allow operation in diverse setups. A perpetual Fender Studio Pro licence ships included. Operating temperature range of 0–40°C and low 35 W power consumption make it suitable for touring vehicles and permanent installations alike.
