The Mesa Boogie® 90S Dual Rectifier Standard is a 100W tube amp head that defined heavy rock’s recorded voice in the ’90s and remains a benchmark for high–gain tone. Its dual–channel architecture delivers the original Vintage/Orange and Modern/Red overdrive voicings alongside an improved Clean Mode, all housed in black chassis with chrome Speed knobs and natural aluminium diamond plate. This Standard dress repositions the iconic Solo Head as a more accessible entry point to proven, game–changing circuitry.

The amp employs 100 watts of Class A/B tube power, selectable between stock 6L6 or EL34 bias configurations for tonal flexibility. Patented switchable rectification toggles between tube and silicon diode stages, altering feel and harmonic character across the frequency spectrum. The Bold/Spongy Variac switch engages reduced voltage operation for increased harmonic density and elastic response.
