The SL2 DX features an alder body paired with a sustain-enhancing, through-body three-piece maple neck reinforced with graphite rods, ensuring ultimate stability against temperature and humidity fluctuations. The 12"-16" compound-radius rolled ebony fingerboard hosts 24 jumbo stainless-steel frets and inverse mother-of-pearl sharkfin inlays, designed for technical, lightspeed playing. Luminlay® glow-in-the-dark side dots provide superior fingerboard visibility on even the darkest stages, while a heel-mounted truss rod adjustment wheel allows for quick neck relief tweaks on the fly.

Its Seymour Duncan® JB™ TB-4 bridge humbucker delivers a powerful low end with hot-rodded attitude, while the Seymour Duncan '59™ SH-1N neck pickup offers glassy highs and scooped mids, performing effortlessly across multiple genres. A versatile five-way blade switch, along with volume and tone controls, unlocks a broad sonic palette. Premium hardware appointments include a Floyd Rose® 1500 Series double-locking tremolo bridge system for extreme dive bombs and reliable tuning stability, Gotoh® MG-T locking tuners, and Dunlop® dual-locking strap buttons for rock-solid performance.
